Best movies: September 2007

Some great movies this past month... here they are in order of preference...

• The Bourne Ultimatum
• Red Rock West. Nicolas Cage in an excellent under-the-radar John Dahl noir.
• Mute Witness. A very nice suspense movie you've probably never heard of.
• Arabesque. Gregory Peck and Sophia Loren!
• The I Inside. Ryan Philippe in a small thriller, pretty good.

Book of the month: Thunderstruck (Erik Larson)

CD of the month: Haunted (Poe)

Disappointing movie of the month: Premonition.
